I enjoy moving around mediums and styles to create rich and diverse work that feels genuine to me. Movement direction, videography, dance, makeup, scenography, sound design and social media are some of the main tools I use to create these worlds and stories. This eclectic creative eye is met with an executive mind that wants to make things happen and will find ways to do so.
Body, Sound, Feeling.
With a background in dance and choreography, my work revolves around the body in motion. I draw interest in the use of breath and finding those extremes of tension and release. This way, I look at surrounding patterns in nature and how they relate to us as part of it. Growing up in Buenos Aires, a city filled with colour and strong rhythms, makes me deeply inspired by sound and music. My work looks at visual dynamics and rhythm, marrying the sound to the visual.
The way I work has been shaped by my career in facilitation. My process is sparked by curiosity, play, and care. Conversations and collaboration are key to my practice, since I see art as a way to both get to know and connect with yourself, others, and the surrounding context. My projects usually start with a feeling/sensation (or a beat that evokes this), to then create conversations around it and create connections.
